Hard Rock rolls on with UK's first music casino

ROCK'N'ROLL gamblers are to have their own casino in Manchester
after Rank Group won the right to expand the Hard Rock brand in the
UK.
The leisure company, run by Mike Smith, has been planning to build
the Hard Rock casino for some time and eventually won the necessary
gaming licence on Friday.
It is known to want to expand its gambling interests and is
currently rumoured to be bidding for the Ladbrokes, Corals and
William Hill betting chains. It already owns the Mecca bingo chain
and Grosvenor casinos.
The new venue will be located next to an existing Hard Rock Cafe
in the Printworks ...
