Twice Gonzaga has taken a lead into the final three minutes
against Paul VI Catholic this season, and twice the Eagles allowed
the game to slip away.
No. 6 Paul VI rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to force
overtime, then came back from four points down to force a second
overtime last night. In the second overtime, the Panthers made the
plays that mattered most for a 66-57 victory before a frenzied crowd
at Gonzaga.
