Profile: John Malkovich: The devil drops his disguise

Not everyone knows that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and
Sciences now has a section for publicists. Those good people do not
yet have their Oscar. But, so far, there are no awards for the best
deal struck all year, the most inventive accountant's return on a
profitable picture or the most audacious piece of promotion.
This year, if that award existed, it would be a lock for John
Malkovich who, merely by consenting to be in Being John Malkovich and
letting himself be photographed...
