Women earn 73 per cent of men's salaries
|
WOMEN IN Britain earn less than three-quarters as much as men for
equivalent work, according to new research. British women who work
full-time earn 73.7 per cent of men's salaries, even lower than the
European average of 76.3 per cent, putting Britain in 10th place out
of the 15 EU countries in the survey.
The biggest discrepancy is in Greece, where women earn only 68 per
