NORWICH fans stayed late at Carrow Road last night to protest
at the club's sudden demise. All is not quite lost and the final
game of the season at home against Aston Villa could still be
decisive. But, to all intents and purposes, the fact that a
Liverpool team with nothing to play for could toy with one with
everything to lose was indicative of Norwich's lack of depth.
Norwich have arrived late in the relegation net. It seems like
only yesterday that it was all singing and dancing at Carrow Road,
but the past few months have seen a team that has been diminished
by a sell-to- prosper ...
