Blue Rocks Hand Cannons Painful Doubleheader Loss

The Wilmington Blue Rocks swept a doubleheader from the Potomac
Cannons yesterday in Woodbridge, scoring the winning run in the
second game when Potomac right fielder Dee Haynes and second baseman
Travis Bailey collided violently while chasing a fly ball.
Wilmington, which won the first game, 4-1, trailed by one run in
the fourth inning of the second game when Wilmington's Norris Hopper
hit a two-out fly ball to shallow right field. Haynes and Bailey ran
full speed into one another and slumped to the ground.
Haynes was knocked unconscious while Bailey briefly stumbled to
