From the cornfields of his family farm in rural Downstate Ottawa to the center of the storm at divine interVentures, Tom Thornton has had an unusual journey. While president of the Illinois Coalition in 1994, Thornton worked with Flip Filipowski, then CEO of Platinum Technology.
