English singer named Dido suddenly gets a package in the mail from
chart-topping rapper Eminem. It's a copy of Eminem's song "Stan,"
complete with an added sample of Dido's voice lifted from her tune,
"Thank You." Eminem asks permission to use the sample and she says
yes.
"I don't even know the real story of how he got a hold of the
record," Dido says. "The story I got is that (Eminem and his
management) heard it on TV and sampled it. ...
