The word is that they loved Mark Lewis's chicken documentary at
the Sundance Film Festival this year, and at the Toronto Film
Festival before that. Certainly his film is, well, different. But
"different" is what viewers want in the summer -- different from
reruns, anyway.
So here we have Australian-born writer-producer-director Lewis,
noted for his 1988 documentary, "Cane Toads," and his 1998
achievement, "Rats," focusing on yet another creature that humans
tend to discount.
