It was drop by drop; year by year.
From millennium to millennium, a majestic wet cavern below a
foothill in Arizona was formed.
For 14 years it was kept a secret.
For 25 years, only a few people were ever able to see it.
Until now.
Two weeks ago, a magnificent, 2.4-mile-long cavern was opened to
the public in the Chihuahuan desert near Benson, Ariz.
