Americans, it seems, want to nibble pasta peanut stir-fry without
giving up on their homestyle pot roast and mashed potatoes.
We love eating out but miss home-cooking.
We want something exotic - think fusion cuisines, new combinations
of spices and unusual cuts of meat. At the same time, we miss the
simple foods we grew up with - macaroni and cheese, meatloaf, fried
eggs and sausage.
At the dawn of a new millennium, Americans still want to have
