TAMPA, Fla. Major League Soccer's controversial format for
determining winners in games tied after 90 minutes wasn't kind to the
Fire on Saturday night.
Mutiny goalkeeper Scott Garlick was brilliant in the extra
session, blocking attempts by Jesse Marsch, Tom Soehn, Frank Klopas,
Manny Lagos and Jerzy Podbrozny to give the Tampa Bay Mutiny a 2-1
victory at its new home of Raymond James Stadium.
