Museum lauds city's music // Tunes mix with science and industry daily

Live music is performed every day at a Museum of Science and Industry exhibit honoring the city's music history. All kinds of music is presented on various days: blues, classical, folk, jazz and rock & roll.

"Sounds of Chicago" also presents noteworthy artifacts, such as:

Louis Armstrong's trumpet. Junior Wells' harmonica. The dress worn by Koko Taylor when she won a Grammy Award. The baton wielded by Chicago Symphony Orchestra founder Theodore Thomas.
