Surely the Air Force was joking when it subtitled its latest report on the Roswell incident "Case Closed."

Tuesday's report, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of whatever happened in Roswell, N.M., no more settles the flying saucer matter than the Air Force would be willing to admit that it started the whole thing by announcing its 1947 discovery of a "flying disc."
