PBS series introduces us to Andrew Carnegie

For most of a decade, viewers of "The American Experience" have come to identify the series with the sonorous, authoritative voice of host and narrator David McCullough.

But a bad case of laryngitis kept McCullough from being the voice of one of the programs closest to his heart: the story of Andrew Carnegie, which airs at 8 p.m. Monday on WTTW-Channel 11.
