Morris W. Ellis, Longtime Trial Lawyer

Morris W. Ellis, 74, a Chicago trial lawyer for 44 years, died
Monday in Weiss Hospital.
An Uptown resident, he had an office at 134 N. La Salle at the
time of his death. He spent his career arguing cases before state
and federal courts.
After graduating from John Marshall Law School, he founded the
law firm in 1951 with his late twin brother, Arthur Ellis, a former
Cook County Circuit Court associate judge.
