Everyone knows how nutritious potatoes are. Naturally low in calories, potatoes have no fat and are high in vitamin C, fiber, iron and potassium.

Were it not for the fact that we often ruin potatoes by cooking them in, or with, ingredients that aren't quite so virtuous, they'd be almost perfect. Almost, that is, except for the fact that, like most of us, the potato has some extremely obnoxious relatives.
