A Tribute to Humphrey

The Spring Festival of Dance started off on just the right foot
Friday with an inspiring visit by the Limon Dance Company.
In a program sponsored by the Dance Center of Columbia College,
the Limon company celebrated its 50th anniversary with works by its
late founder, Jose Limon, and a reconstruction of historic dances by
Doris Humphrey.
A dazzling, mesmerizing creation by Garth Fagan rounded out the
program at the Merle Reskin Theatre.
