Midway Adding Flights, Facilities

Midway Airlines is adding East Coast destinations and new rest
rooms for women travelers as it tries to break out of the pack of
low-cost, low-fare carriers.
But both initiatives are tinged with controversy.
The women's bathrooms may irk men, who make up three out of four
business travelers. And Midway's plan to start flying to Allentown,
Pa., Monday has raised the hackles of competitors, who say they are
being discriminated against because Midway's service is subsidized by
local authorities.
