Monte Carlo Is Good Bet at Its 1995 Price

Chevrolet knew the sporty history of its popular Monte Carlo
coupe, which it foolishly dropped in 1988, would help sell the 1995
version of the car.
Chevy also knew that getting the back-from-the-dead Monte
Carlo's price right would be crucial to selling it in high numbers.
The automaker has gotten the price right by making the new
"Monte" not an all-new car, but a racy two-door coupe version of its
revamped, high-value, $15,470-$16,970 front-wheel-drive 1995 Lumina
