Hillary Clinton Slashes White House Fat

WASHINGTON The fat was in the fire when word leaked out a couple of weeks ago that White House chef Pierre Chambrin was leaving. But that's about the last fat the White House kitchen is going to see for a while.

A team of chefs is coming to town at the end of the month to teach the White House low-fat cookery, whether or not a new chef has been chosen by then. Dean Ornish, the best-selling low-fat-lifestyle author, is bringing two celebrated San Francisco chefs and the chef from his Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, Calif., to demonstrate poaching and fat-free sauteing, ...
