ATLANTA Government doctors warned parents Thursday to keep ethnic remedies locked away, citing the case of three Colorado children who nearly died from a popular Chinese herbal product.

The children, age 13 months to 2 1/2 years, overdosed on Jin Bu Huan, an herbal product marketed in U.S. health food stores as a dietary supplement, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
