Saturn President Sees More Output, Break-Even in '93

General Motors' white-hot Saturn division is well on its way to boosting production and breaking even financially this year for the first time since its operations began in late 1990.

So says Richard "Skip" LeFauve, Saturn Corp. president, in town for the opening Saturday of the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place.

"We'll have a third crew working by June at our Spring Hill, Tenn., plant to make a planned 303,000 cars this year," LeFauve said Wednesday at a media conference. Last year, the plant produced 240,000 cars.
