St. Patrick Upsets No. 12 Gordon Tech

Sometimes it takes playing a neighborhood rival to inspire a team
to play good basketball.
That's what happened Saturday as St. Patrick (6-8) upset No. 12
Gordon Tech (11-4) 65-58 at St. Patrick. The victory marked the
first time the Shamrocks have beaten the Rams since 1987.
"It was just a natural rivalry between schools," St. Patrick
coach Max Kurland said. "It makes everybody play their best. It was
our best game of the year."
