Howell J. Holloman, Ex-Lombard Leader

Howell J. Holloman, 69, a former Lombard village president, died Friday in his Lombard home.

Mr. Holloman, a resident of the western suburb for more than 40 years, served as village president from 1969 to 1973, the same year he was Lombard's Man of the Year. He was a former town trustee and chairman of its board of building appeals as well.

An engineer by trade, he founded Howell J. Holloman P.E. Ltd., a consulting engineering business at 131 S. Main, Lombard, in 1982. He was a mechanical engineer for Ragnar Benson Inc. for 28 years before that.
