Trisha Brown gets a little help from her friends

Trisha Brown doesn't dance alone. The modern dance choreographer is dedicated to the art of collaboration, often working on large-scale theatrical presentations with creative artists such as composer Alan Curran, visual artist Robert Rauschenberg, performance artist Laurie Anderson and filmmaker Lina Wertmuller.

To celebrate her latest collaboration with Curran, the Trisha Brown Company will unveil the U.S. premiere of "For M.G.: The Movie" at 8 p.m. April 24 and 25 at the Harold Washington Library, 400 S. State. "M.G." is Michel Guy, the late French producer.
