The legend of Attila the Hun, who in the fifth century led his nomadic warriors to rival the Roman Empire, comes up in "Attila," a four-hour USA Network original miniseries premiering Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 p.m.

Gerard Butler stars in the title role as the King of the Huns, who battles the Roman General Flavius Aetius (Powers Boothe) and his half- brother and jealous rival Bleda (Tommy Flanagan).
