NASHVILLE John Prine is just a regular Joe.
It's just taken 20 years for some people to realize that. The
Maywood native burst on the scene in 1971 with his American Gothic
"John Prine" debut album. Since then, Prine has been produced by
Atlantic Records' Arif Mardin (on his first three records), Barry
Beckett (who has handled everyone from Bob Dylan to Southside
Johnny), Steve Cropper, the late Steve Goodman and Jerry and Knox
