Rockefeller reopens door to 1992 run

CLEVELAND Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginai surprised Democrats Tuesday by announcing he is reopening the door to a possible run for the party's presidential nomination next year.

"The door is not closed," he told reporters after addressing a convention of conservative-to-moderate Democrats here. "The door is a little more open to me."
