Lyricist Sammy Cahn is a frustrated performer.
Never mind that the 77-year-old show-biz veteran wrote the words
for such classics as "My Kind of Town (Chicago Is)," "I'll Walk
Alone," "Three Coins in a Fountain," "All the Way" and "Call Me
Irresponsible." Forget that 28 of his several hundred songs were
nominated for Academy Awards and four of them won Oscars. Never mind
