Chet `Mr. Guitar' Atkins sticks his `Neck' out again
|
NASHVILLE, Tenn. Master guitarist Chet Atkins said he's due for a
new image.
The 45-year veteran of the music business said he may start
emulating certain rock stars by wearing leather and heavy makeup.
"Nobody wants you when you just play guitar," he joked.
Atkins was joshing with rock guitarist Mark Knopfler, who
produced the new album "Neck and Neck."
At 66, Atkins hardly needs any special strategy at this stage of
