Environmental sounds have gone to the head of Bernie Krause.
Krause, a member of the post-Pete Seeger Weavers and half of the
Beaver & Krause electronic music duo, has created a niche in the
burgeoning field of bioacoustics (sounds of life). But every man's
niche has some bugs to work out, and Krause was no exception.
He was recently in Costa Rica to record environmental sounds
