Cognac takes edge off winter
|
Winter is the perfect season for discovering that most warming
elixir - Cognac. Sure Cognac is both expensive and "high octane,"
but a little goes a long way. Sipping just a tiny portion, less than
an ounce, can consume a chilly hour or two, especially when the
Cognac is accompanied by a good book or good conversation.
Cognac is made only in the region of Cognac in southwest France.
Cognac is doubled-distilled brandy, a blend of wines juxtaposed to
create each Cognac firm's distinct style. Only spirits produced in
the 235,000 acres surrounding Cognac may bear the Cognac designation.
