New postcard honoring Hull House to debut here
|
Hull House, which opened here 100 years ago and developed into
an extraordinary institution, will be featured on a 15-cent Historic
Preservation Series postcard to be issued here Sept. 16.
First-day ceremonies will be at 11 a.m. in the Illinois Room at
Chicago Circle Center, University of Illinois at Chicago, to dedicate
the new card. The Center, at 750 S. Halsted, is a short walk from
the original Hull House, which will be open to visitors.
