From Lithuania with love: Priest, daughter reunited

The last time Vytautas "Vic" Gorinas saw his oldest daughter, Grazina, she was 8 months old.

A lot has happened since then.

Gorinas fled Lithuania near the end of World War II; his wife, Josephine, followed him, but later died; Gorinas worked as headwaiter at La Tour restaurant in Chicago, then became a Roman Catholic priest.

But looking at him clutching his long-lost daughter, Grazina Venckeviciene, 44, at their O'Hare Airport reunion Friday night, it seemed like none of it had happened.

Father and child were locked in an embrace they had waited more than 43 years to realize.
