Art Institute to host show of ancient Greek figure art

Artworks of ancient Greece never before seen in the United
States will be showcased in "The Human Figure in Early Greek Art,"
which will open tomorrow at the Art Institute of Chicago.
The touring show of works from the 10th through 15th century
B.C. features 67 marble sculptures, bronzes, statuettes, pieces of
painted pottery and terra-cotta figurines. Organized by the National
Gallery of Art and the Greek Ministry of Culture, the exhibit draws
