MIAMI For a while Sunday, it looked as though Joe Montana would
wave his magic wand and make the 49ers' coaching genius disappear.
The 49ers were less than a minute away from losing the Super
Bowl because they were beaten by Cincinnati's defense and special
teams. That's like losing a beauty contest because of the talent
competition.
