Ferris does Heitor Villa-Lobos proud

There are times when you can hear a lot of attractive music simply by following William Ferris around through a weekend.

His innovations, which have been going on for 16 seasons, continue to be of steadily increasing significance, continue to provide the Chicago musical audience with things no one else is duplicating.

Friday night with his chorale at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church he offered a program of choral and instrumental music marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heitor Villa-Lobos.
