Design in broad strokes // Chiaroscuro show draws out apparel's fine-art influence
|
When a lively assortment of 15 artists, fashion designers,
photographers and Art Institute design students merge their
creativity, fashion is elevated to fine art.
The result is chronicled in "Fashion in and as Art," an
exhibition opening Friday in the Chiaroscuro gallery and store, 750
N. Orleans. Their images and garments will focus on fashion's
relationship with and attention to
various aspects of fine art.
