Oak Park topples Leyden; Simeon wins

In a Saturday night matchup of two of the West Suburban's top teams, Oak Park scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to erase a seven-point deficit and hand visiting Leyden its first loss of of the year 57-50.

Oak Park (5-1), which trailed 47-40 after three quarters, rolled off its winning streak as Leyden (6-1) shot 0-for-8 and committed five turnovers to go scoreless for 7:33 of the final period. Leyden's Peter Mazur made a three-point shot with 27 seconds left to avert a fourth-quarter shutout.
