States open ATV safety campaign
|
Attorneys general from 23 states, including Illinois, have launched a drive to reduce accidents involving all-terrain vehicles, which they said have killed 800 people in the nation, including 17 in Illinois.
The officials, all members of the National Association of Attorneys General consumer protection committee, announced Monday they have sent a letter to the president of American Honda Motor Co., inviting him to meet with them in California to discuss ATV safety.
