Elvis Presley movies are like a bad Berlitz course.
A common talking head spins a fast world of diverse tongues.
It's no secret that Presley himself consistently was discouraged
about the canned nature of his film career. In an assembly-line
style that covered 33 movies and made profits of more than $200
million, Presley did little more than play himself, play himself and
play himself.
