William J. McGill, 92, a retired executive of Standard Oil of Indiana, died Saturday in his Flossmoor home.

Mr. McGill began his career with Standard in the research lab of the Whiting, Ind., refinery. He later managed that refinery and the refinery at Wood River, Ill., and went on to become manager of industrial and public relations for Standard.

He was a consultant during studies on company management in Australia and Japan, and was also a consultant for energy studies conducted by the State Department's Agency for International ...
