Midwest plans new lower fee structure
|
The Midwest Stock Exchange, facing a dissident slate of nominees
for its board, next week will disclose new transaction fees that will
make the exchange more competitive with other regional exchanges, a
Midwest official said.
John Weithers, president of the Midwest Stock Exchange, said he
plans to disclose next week a new fee structure that "makes the
Midwest clearly cheaper across the board than for all the other
regional exchanges" on trades ranging from 100 to 1,000 shares.
