Robert H. Harvey, 61, retired Downers Grove teacher and longtime
Du Page County Democratic worker, died yesterday of a respiratory
ailment in Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital.
Mr. Harvey, of Downers Grove, retired last year after 20 years
as a teacher in various Downers Grove elementary schools, where he
took a special interest in teaching science.
A Chicago native, Mr. Harvey grew up in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn
and earned bachelor's and master's degrees at Roosevelt Universi...
