Four people were injured in a North Side apartment building last
night when a "simulated" explosion set off by a television-series
production crew blew out the walls of an elevator shaft.
The explosion injured a couple dining in the Medici on Surf
restaurant, on the ground floor of the Park Lane Hotel, 2850 N.
Sheridan, a crew member on the fourth floor and a fourth person whose
whereabouts at the time wasn't known.
