CODY, Wyo. If Buffalo Bill were alive today, you might find him
leaning at the massive cherrywood bar of his restored Irma Hotel
buying a round for the historical preservationists of Cody country.
Keeping alive the exploits of this town's colorful founder is an
important part of Cody's economy.
Without Col. William F. Cody and other Wild West characters,
including outlaw Blind Bill Hoolihan, Jeremiah "Liver Eating"
Johnston, and journalist/socialite Caroline Lockhart, there would be
