Scruples scores big in U.S. game market

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (UPI) Three years after Trivial Pursuits emigrated from Canada to catch the fancy and discretionary income of American baby-boomers, a Canadian import with a nontrivial theme is dominating the U.S. adult game market.

More than 250,000 copies of Milton Bradley Co.'s A Question of Scruples were sold between January and March, the first three months the company marketed the game. Its sales rivaled those of such long-established Milton Bradley classics as the 26-year-old Game of Life.
