Redgrave again fuels fire on Israel
|
Few words strike starker fear into the entertainment industry's
soul, such as it is, than "blacklist." It conjures up the 1950s
McCarthy era, when the red-baiting of Wisconsin Sen. Joseph McCarthy
ruined the lives of countless figures in show business because of
their past - often youthful and brief - associations with communism.
It's a shame Vanessa Redgrave's knowledge of history is so
shortsighted.
