SPRING is in the air, and it's a time of year that I always greet
with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the Asperges season will
soon be with us (though be careful not to confuse it with Aspergers,
or you might end up pouring hollandaise sauce over the victim's
head), but on the negative side, another posse of lambs from the
neighbouring farm will soon be scrabbling through the hole at the
bottom of my garden, and seeking the forbidden source of pleasure
that lies secreted within the tyr...
